I have a bit of a statistics obsession as you may tell from my reviews of many logging solutions for cycling. What I really want out of this exercise is to convince myself of which solution to use. Ideally just 1, but I don’t mind 1 Mac based and 1 online, but not the 5 I currently use.
So yesterday I bought ProLogCycling. It’s actually just an Excel spreadsheet, but a very good one. I’ve started putting my January rides in which is a slow process if you want to add all the relevant metadata and get the most out of it. The only gotcha is I’m primarily a Mac user and I bought Microsoft Office 2008 which doesn’t work with PLC due to the lack of macro support so I’m having to use a PC. I’ll post a full review after using for a couple of days but I really like it already.
Early heads up. If only for the cost tracking I love it.
